today I went to a Leonardo De Vinci exhibition where there were drawings of his designs for his invention.

After Leonardo studied bird anatomy it came to him that he should use the same rules for his flying machines. He set his mind to a invention that he called the 'united wing', which was originally suppose to have a single cloth or canvas stretched over a rigged skeletal frame. His study of bats was particularly what this design was originally based on.

Leonardo De Vinci

Just a sample of Leonardo De Vinci, When he was about 12 years old, Leonardo moved to the bustling city of Florence with his father. Because young Leonardo demonstrated a great talent for drawing, his father later made him an apprentice in the studio of Andrea del Verrocchio, a leading artist in Florence. when Leonardo was 21 years old was a skilled painter, Verrocchio permitted him to help with an important painting of the Baptism of Christ. Leonardo painted the kneeling angel and some of the background for this work.
